Founded in 2012, Biogas Clapton is a UK-based company at the forefront of the renewable energy industry. Our team has more than 20 years of experience in this sector and has successfully acquired, developed, and managed multiple AD plants across the UK, Germany, and Japan. Due to significant technological developments in recent years, Biogas Clapton is increasingly focused on bio waste AD plants. 

 

 

Prior to starting Biogas Clapton, director Günther J. Schulz founded his CHP business in Germany in the late 1980's, which he turned into one of the world's leading biogas CHP manufacturers at the time. The company had annual sales exceeding €33m and more than 170 employees by the time he sold the business to a US investment group in 2008.
